AHA Family Center
What is the Family Center?
Here in the Family Center we provide support and empower our parents to be involved in their student’s education. Our mission is to ensure that parents know and support their children by understanding the next steps to successfully transition from middle school to high school and on to college. We work side by side with parents providing them with the resources they need to help them in the areas that they need help with the most. For example: clothing bank, food bank, utility resources, counseling referral, tutoring referral, etc.
As we embark on a new journey, the AHA Family Center would love to help make this year productive. If you need to get a hold of the Family Center please call 243-1458 ex. 60168 or 60170 so we can make an appointment that works for you.
We aim to bridge communication between home and school, communicate with our district legislators to encourage conversation on topics that are important to you, build a community of volunteers on and off campus, encourage partnerships with the school, become knowledgeable about the annual school budget, encourage our students to take advantage of tutoring opportunities to improve academic achievement.
