The College Bound Athlete

New NCAA rules!!!  Beginning August 1, 2016 Division I and August 1, 2018 Division II

So you want to be a college athlete. That’s great! Now you have to learn the process to actually be a college athlete... and it’s not too early to start figuring out what you need to do. The NCAA, NAIA and NJCAA have processes that you need follow to ensure your eligibility. If you are a high school athlete who wants to play college-level sports, keep two priorities in mind: COLLEGE FIRST, SPORTS SECOND. Avoid situations that might leave you without a degree or even a team to play on. REMEMBER YOUR ELIGIBILITY IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY!!!

NCAA schools require college-bound student-athletes to build a foundation of high school courses to prepare them for the academic expectations in college.
